« Clean room and hallways, good filling breakfast provided. Was undisturbed during our stay. »

« Personnel très gentil »

« Great house with lots of room. All parcels have lake side view. »

« Perfect place for us to stay when traveling to a wedding in the area. The Inn was clean, quiet, modern and very reasonably priced. Good coffee in the lobby! I'd definitely stay there again when in the area. »

« The property was very private and beautiful. The hot tub and sauna were a nice bonus. The solar shower was chilly, but refreshing after a sauna! We took out the paddleboat and caught fish. We used the firepit each night and the stars were bright and breathtaking. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property to others who don't mind not having running water in the cabin. »

« Beautiful, convenient location for our visit to Lake Itasca and the Mississippi headwaters. The cabin was comfortable, clean and cozy. If you visit, be sure to note that the restroom is not located in or next to the cabin. »

« This cabin is an absolute must visit! We stayed for two nights and it was the perfect place to return to after a long day of fishing, hiking, and exploring at Itasca. The rental was clean and exactly as described online. There were enough tools and space in the cabin for us to comfortably make pizzas, enjoy some wine, and prep food for our outings. The bathhouse being a short walk from the cabin was no issue at all, and the Black Lantern Resort was very well-kept in general. The host called us...

« The bathroom was really nice and the beds were comfortable. But there was a lot of dust and the air conditioner had mold in it. I couldn't stop sneezing. »

« The location is perfect for someone who wants to be near the park. The rooms were clean, and the linens and towels were in great condition. The only negative side to the room was that the bathroom door seemed to need to be rehung, as it was off of square and was difficult to open or close. Otherwise, this was a delightful stay. »

« We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay, everything was very well kept and close to the amenities at the park! The ice cream shop was a hit with the kiddo! »

« Excellent Hosts! The rental was exceptionally well laid out for our group. Plenty of large common areas for gathering and eating, as well, the outdoor spaces including the fire pit in the front and a large porch on the back offered variety for smaller group conversations. From the first communication to our final checkout, everything was articulated, so we knew exactly what to do entering and exciting, »

« Great location and very easy access. Highly recommend. »

« My third time staying here, love it »

« Loved the notebook to add our stay story too! »

« We had a great time, kayaking & the cabin was close to everything. »

« It was a very nice place to stay and easy to get to.The thermostats were locked which I can understand, but we were very warm and no windows opened. We moved a mattress into the entrance and slept with the main door open and screen door locked. »
