We did a 4 night stay on Sal Island and decided to splurge on a hotel. Yes, it was expensive but it really was fantastic. The on property pool is beautiful and has a restaurant right there serving good pizza and other food. There is also another restaurant a short walk away on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast was fantastic and the room was big enough for a family of 3. This is a great hotel at which to spend a few days discovering Praia. Very walkable to transportation, the beach, some decent restaurants, and the sights. Though the breakfast buffet was consistently good, for any other meal lack of attention to service at the restaurant and bar meant an almost do-it-yourself experience. A late check out option (subject to room availability) was awesome for my 1 am flight! Very helpful front desk staff.

The breakfast is the real highlight! The rooms are fine and clean, staff polite and the location 3 mins walking from the beach. 4 mins drive from airport and 15 from Mindelo. It’s a nice place to stay if you value peace and quiet with beach access!

Very large resort but everything is easily accessible.

The property is lovely surrounded by palm trees. The rooms are spacious. We liked that the various buildings of rooms were only 2 floors and each had a veranda. We were especially impressed with their buffets. Incredible variety of foods and very well prepared. The only thing it lacks from our perspective is a couple more a la carte restaurants. There is only one in the resort, the rest are buffets.
