Top Bulgaria Hotel Reviews

Sofia Balkan Palace

10/10 Excellent

"The Balkan Palace does not offer parking, and its entrance is not readily accessible by car. That being said, there is a relatively small (about 15 spaces) public parking lot located on the west side of Square of Tolerance and north side of Cathedral St. Nedelia, about 50 meters from the Hotel entrance, accessible off Pl. Sveta Nedelya. By whatever means of transport, the Balkan Palace is worth your effort. "Built in 1950 the Sofia Balkan Palace stands as a masterful blend of neoclassical grandeur and contemporary sophistication." It truly merits its 5-star rating, a grand accommodation. The on-site Bar-Restaurant offers relaxation, tranquility, elegance and top service. Can't recommend highly enough."

Grand Hotel Plovdiv

8/10 Good

"Undergoing renovations its one of the best hotels in the area but a lot off stores that are located in the hotel area don't work. The new owners also have a casino on site I visited the casino on a previous trip not this one mainly because of the way my check in went. I don't want to elaborate but this is not the way you gain customers it's the way you make them not spend their money and not come back. Maybe when the renovations are done I will rethink about staying there."

Best Western Terminus Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Firstly the hotel is very close to Sofia station. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. Our room was really fantastic, great bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet. However the real standout at this hotel is the staff, I would give them 10 stars if I could! We have been travelling Europe for 3 months and stayed in a lot of hotels, the Terminus Hotel in Sofia was the best so far! On the last day we met the general manager of the hotel who handed us a pre-packaged breakfast bag due to our early checkout, he and all the other staff we met were fantastic!"
