A shout-out to Morrin, the property manager. The room was large, and the bed was comfy. We ate a lot of our meals at the on-site restaurant after trying the food at a couple of local restaurants. The food at T.T.'s was delicious and reasonably priced. We live in the Northeast, USA, so that is our comparison. The hotel provides a complimentary boat service to the ferry terminals, which are in the heart of the main part of Caye Calker, and a golf cart service to the Split ferries to get to the main part of the Island. All in all, El Ben Cabanas is a quiet oasis on the northern part of Caye Calker.
