Home away from home

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Destin, Florida! The house was exceptionally clean and well-kept, and check-in was a breeze—absolutely no issues. The home itself was stunning and located in a quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk from the beach, which made our trip even more enjoyable. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great place! Lots of space and bathrooms. Loved that it was dog friendly, but wish it was fenced entirely. Didnt realize it was 1/2 mile from beach, but it worked out. Great patio out front and little balcony. Company was great to replace chair that broke and let us in when the door lock deleted the code briefly. Would stay again!

No Internet and No Compensation

Everything about this property was to my satisfaction except the fact that there was no internet connection. I contacted the owner and she sent the maintenance out who had to call the cable guy who discovered that the main line had been cut by contractors next door. From Monday to Thursday, our families activated our own mobile hotspots. On Thursday the maintenance guy brought a mobile hotspot around 3pm. By 10pm, it quit working. During the whole week I was communicating with the owner about the inconvenience and asked to be fairly compensated and she ignored my question with no response. On Monday, June 24th. I called Vrbo and explained my disappointment. They said that they were going to reach out to the owner and that they would call me within 24-48 hours. Well it's June 27th and I have not heard from Vrbo either. I do not recommend this property. And Vrbo should do a better job at making sure the owners of the rental properties are providing the necessities that's being advertised to the renters, or at least see to the renters are fairly compensated for loss of inconvenience. A whole week with no internet, was difficult with kids. I will not book my next vacation with Vrbo.

This was a relax, revive and regroup get away with NO kids. The house was very clean and comfortable located in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch or screened back in the mornings. Plenty of bath towels. Good location within 2-3 minute drive to the beach and close proximity to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the extras such as bicycles and wagon for hauling items to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property with Pool next door

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. House came with beach toys and a couple wagons that was very handy for our beach days. The pool is pretty much right next door which was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay, and was only a few minutes to the beach.

We were a party of 10 adults and the place was very accommodating. We all voted this as the best of 4 places in the Destin area that we have stayed. Kitchen is big with plenty of cabinets, a gas stove and generous seating. A/C works wonderful on all floors. Very convenient having the 1/2 bath off the laundry room. It was also nice having the 2 porch areas for privacy. Very happy with our choice. Small complaint, toss old throw rugs and outdoor chair cushions.

Family time at the beach

Location & house was terrific! Easy to find and great for the 9 of us to spread out in. However, there were some things that could have made our stay better. We were there for 12 days. There should have been more supplies provided for a stay that long: we needed to buy trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper. There were no coffee filters and no salt or pepper. We went home with tons of products we needed to buy for our stay—good thing we had a large vehicle in order to transport all of them home!

We enjoyed our stay at sovereign isle. The house was equipped with everything you needed. The pool was right next door. The beach access less than a 10 minute walk. Plenty of shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back. Very unique neighborhood.

Everything you could want

We had a party of nine and the accommodations were wonderful. There was more than enough room for everyone. I don’t think the pictures do the home justice. We had access to any thing you would need for your trip to the beach. Wagons, bikes, chairs, cooler, blowups, boards, etc. If you didn’t want to go to the beach, having access to the pool next door was great too. The neighborhood is just so cozy and relaxing. Our favorite part was enjoying the front porch in the morning and evening just relaxing and visiting. We will definitely return for another memorable week.

Perfect! Great location

Very spacious and clean! Host description was accurate. Best parts: location, clean, TONS of hot water for all showers, right next door to pool, comfy beds, AC kept up with very hot days. The only con: only one bathroom upstairs had a shower. The other only had a tub. Would definitely recommend staying here.
