This is a wonderful place to stay outside the city, yet close enough to everything you’ll need. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and truly enjoyed the property and location. It would be ideal for a fishing/hunting camp or a quiet vacation spot. Highly recommend!
We were 2 families looking for a weekend fishing getaway. This house was perfect! The kids took over upstairs and parents had plenty of space downstairs. We loved the screened in back porch for afternoon drinks! Everything was very clean and the house is really nice. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Really good place for a group of guys. Bunch of beds and was perfect for our needs. Little bit of a drive to Nola but considering the prices asked In Nola for Super Bowl weekend, this place was a steal. Place could use more plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans. Pretty limited for a larger group. Overall, would def stay here again. Very Clean. Go Birds !!
For the last 12 years the same group of 8 guys have been fishing Delacroix in the late summer and fall… Our usual house was already taken, but this house was great… easy to access Delacroix and Hopedale… slept 8 comfortably. Screen porch was nice to get away from the bugs… love the floor plan.. next we need a fish cleaning sink, because we always at h a pile of fish and this is our meat trip… would recommend with no hesitation… just be good at backing a boat…
The house was beautiful and clean. We contacted the host a few times and got an immediate response. We enjoyed the lovely kitchen and open concept floorpan. The house is very large with 2 bedrooms down & 2 up. The bathrooms are very nice. We enjoyed the back screened porch with 2 fans to provide a cool breeze. We fished during the day and enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area.
Stayed in Delacroix a lot of times over the years. This is by far the nicest house in the entire town. Location was great and the property was very well kept. Larry was very accommodating when we had questions as well.
