« Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area. »

« L'hôtel est juste en face de la gare, ce qui est pratique. Le personnel est très gentil, et le pub/resto de l'hôtel est refait à neuf et relativement bien. Cependant, l'hôtel en lui-même est bien décevant. Nous avions une chambre pour deux avec salle de bain privative, une pour deux sans, et une chambre individuelle. Dans la salle de bain privative, la chasse des toilettes ne marchait pas toujours. La chambre individuelle côté rivière est une vrai cocotte minute. Le tuyau d'eau chaude...

« Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. »

« Nous avons du réserver cet hôtel car notre vol a été annulé. Stan et sa femme son très gentils, Avec un grand coeur, et à l’écoute, nous avons super bien était accueilli. Leurs maison est vraiment très belle. La chambre très grande. Le lit super confortable, il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut, café, thé, frigo, télé sèche-cheveux. Le petit déjeuner très copieux et super bon. Je recommence vraiment cet endroit. »

« Très belle maison typique Anglaise à 2 pas de la plage. Un accueil exceptionnel : Kirk a été chaleureux envers les enfants, nous a prêté des jouets de plages, nous a donné des conseils de visites pour la suite de notre séjour... La maison a été rénovée récemment et est très bien entretenue, le petit déjeuner aussi mérite son commentaire tellement il est bon et copieux. »

« We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

« Liked that it had EV charging. Very peaceful and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value »

« Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay »
