Crystal Beach Hotel

"Crystal Beach has many great points to note: It's on the quiet end of the boardwalk. It's steps from the beach. The rooms are clean. Beds are relatively comfortable. Pillows are great. A/C works well. Rooms in the "Boardwalk Building" have kitchenettes with small kitchen sinks, coffee maker, microwave, hip-height fridge and a counter top (no stove top). Ice machines work. The property has two pools, a gym, and a poolside bar. What they don't tell you: There is now an (approximately) $12/day parking fee that's not posted on 3rd party vendor sites. Unlike some of the other hotels with kitchenettes, there are no dishes, glasses, or flatware in any of the cupboards, so you'll have to bring your own. It's not a big deal, but just know that up front. When they say "City view," you could actually be looking at the side of the next building or the parking garage, not the bay. (We spent the whole day on the beach, so we didn't care.) No safes are provided in the rooms. Finally, shortly after check in, we had an issue with our toilet not working. Although they worked on it, the problem returned later that night. I called the front desk, but by then, maintenance had gone home. I asked for a new room. "We'll work on that." We went to bed. I awoke at 4:30 am and had to walk across a parking lot to use the poolside restroom. Finally at 5:00 a.m. we moved to a smaller but nicer room. Supposedly no amt. of refund because we used a 3rd party vendor. I would however still stay here again."

"Front desk staff was very kind. Easy check in and out. It’s a great place to stay for multiple days. The AC can be loud, but we don’t mind the noise. The hotel can be a little noisy too. Just everyone hustle and bustling. The kids screaming at the pool. Again, we don’t mind. More of a warning to people who maybe looking for a quieter place. We come every year and we will return next!"

Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort

"The hotel was well kept and very clean. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helped us with what we needed. The room was nice & spacious , clean , nice size sitting room and kitchenette. We paid for a room with a balcony and a view of the pool which was very nice. The pool has a strict closing time. We had no issues with noise."

"It’s a good hotel for the money you pay. We mostly are out and about so what we use the room for is just sleeping, and it’s fine for that. If you’re not an early riser you will probably be woken up by people moving around once it hits about 9am but again, that doesn’t bother us when we stay. The pool is always really great here, and it is clean. The location is also amazing (walking distance to mini golf, fish tales restaurant, and holiday inns outdoor pool bar)"

"Great hotel! Met up to the Hyatt standards. Close to boardwalk and ocean. Good breakfast. Great pools for rainy days. Only issue was that check in was confusing. Was unclear where to park and unload the car."

Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums

"There was 1 staff member who was overwhelmed with the influx of guests at and the service request and it showed with her frustration in handling customers complaints. I had an issue with the access cards given to me in gaining access to my room 204 on 6/19/26 and her initial response was it was not her problem when she was prompted by the staff for assistance who was doing the check in."

"Outside hotel with ample parking. Reserved side ocean view, rooms were small especially the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, balcony was great as the amenities. The service staff was excellent."
