"My family enjoyed our stay at Peaceful on the Albemarle Sound! The home was lovely and stocked with everything we could possibly need. My family was able to easily travel to OBX for a day trip and appreciated returning back to the house for the calm and quiet of our little retreat. The week we stayed was the hottest week for the month of June so my husband didn't fish quite as much as he would've liked to, but that's NC weather for you lol but he did catch a few early in the mornings. We traveled into Hertford and enjoyed visiting local stores and restaurants. We definitely intend to return because Peaceful on the Albemarle Sound is such a lovely home surrounded by water. "The location was perfect. It made for easy walking to restaurants, parks and nature walks. We loved that we parked when we arrived and didn't get back in the car until we were leaving. The accommodations were comfortable and well appointed, with a kitchenette to meet our needs. Thank you also for the water bottles as we did not think about packing our own. "
