"The house is in a great location for accessing the Coastal Path- north and south there are great walks. Angela is a helpful host and the check in process was very easy. Unlike many other local properties we were able to book a two night stay which was great for us Our bed was very comfortable Lovely seat in the front garden for morning sun and sea views. Fabulous location to explore the villages near and further away and just a 15 minute walk to Warkworth beach. There were so many places to eat but our favourites were The Fish Shack and Spurelli's ice cream parlour in Amble, The Landing cafe in Beadnell, and the Masons Arms in Warkworth was good for pub food and...

Chestnut Lodge, Northumberland
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (25)
"Really enjoyed our stay, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The only downside was the location of hot tub - guests from other properties were constantly walking right past the tub in order to get to the other side of the lake. A privacy screen would make a huge difference."

6 Bedrooms | Northumberland Coast | Recently Refurbished
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (8)
"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...
