"Clean and paint your rooms. The view is excellent. Pool party was nice. Lobby is remodeled. The rooms have declined severely. I would pay $150 more per night for remodeled rooms. Its a shame because this hotel was a go to for us 7 years ago. "

"We had an extremely clean room and the staff was outstanding. It was convenient to have a restaurant and bar on site. Unfortunately, the bed was similar to a futon and was extremely uncomfortable. The room is beyond basic. I liked the chic look and the price was good. The pool is tiny (appears larger in the pictures- great job by the photographer). We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fabulous. The mahi mahi and steak were to die for. "

"Check in information when I booked reservation said the office would be open until 11 pm, but when we arrived at 10 pm it was closed. A note was on the door with our room assignment and said the door was open and the key inside. The rooms and exterior of the property need updating. Definitily a worn down property. Initially amenities were adequate but minimal. I considered moving to another hotel, but decided to stay and tough it out since it was just myself. On day 3 of 5 night stay I asked housekeeping staff for a refresh of towels, toilet paper and garbage bag for kitchen and she told me (in Spanish - no English) that I needed to get them from the office, which was closed. She reluctantly gave me 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel, but nothing else. I never saw anyone in the office during my stay. Furniture and linens had stains, bathtub and tiled floors had stains and chips, sliding door to terrace didn't lock. Safe was locked shut so I couldn't open and there was no one in office to assist - no matter what time of day I tried. This is definitely a low budget hotel and had I known I would not have booked. Parking was good and there was ample restaurants & shopping nearby and the beach was walkable, but not likely to stay here again."
