"Updated and nice property that was close to everything. The room was updated, the grab and go breakfast was nice and I liked the filtered water bottle filler. The pool looked clean but too cold for my family at the time we went. The microwave and mininfridge were great too. Only drawback was the walls seemed thin, we were on the 2nd floor and anytime someone walked by you could feel and hear it and we could hear our neighbors. One had a dog that whimpered at 6am each morning but overall it a comfortable place to stay."

"Owner is great to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Cabin is rustic and comfortable. Easily accommodated our group of 5. Very quiet and relaxing. Close to hiking trails and an easy kayak launch was just a couple minutes away at the park. Reasonable distance with a scenic to the the Wild Center. Looking forward to a return visit."

"We stayed in one of the small cabins. The cabin was just as described on the website and in the photos. The bed was comfortable. The porch on the front of Cabin was nice. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. We ate both nights at the restaurant. The food was the best we have had in a long time, with very fresh ingredients and all the staff were friendly. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service was exceptional with several extra nice touches We will be back ."

"Nice property. I was panicked upon arrival and have suggested a description change to owner. The description states a bedroom " downstairs" which we took as meaning ground ( main) floor. It's actually basement with steep stairs. There are also 2 bedrooms upstairs. Problem is my husband cannot do stairs. The bathrooms are on the main floor & upstairs..none near the basement room which would be an issue for my 89 year old husband as well. We chose the upstairs room and had to assist each day for the up & down. Cabin is well equipped; great gas fireplace; well set up kitchen; a great screen porch. Side yard has a fire pit and swing set..great for the childrenbeithbusc& s'more night! The caretaker was great bringing supplies that ran low and helping us with fireplace control & TV. Had a lovely time once we figured how to get my husband up & down from bedroom."
