3. Cozy escape close to downtown, stadiums & parks

North Side

« Pet friendly, close to the attractions I was interested in. A lot of confusion at first, probably my fault for not fully understanding the listing. The home address is for the main house on the property not the carriage house I rented. This was confusing to me when I arrived in the dark. Host and I were able to sort it out the next day. Will consider renting again in the future, except there is no washer, dryer or iron in the property which I didn’t realize when booking. »

« This was the perfect place for our quick trip to PGH. Pleasantly surprised by the Mt. Washington area and so many things within walking distance. Easy access to the incline and the city rail system. We had more than enough space for our family of four. Place stayed cool in hot weather and plenty of extra fans as needed. Having the garage to park our vehicle was a bonus as well. Outstanding host! »

7. Eclectic Historic Sunny Vista Home with City Views, Northshore

« Clean (spotless) inside the home. The exterior however was overgrown grass and weeds. No way to sit outside to even enjoy a cup of coffee. And speaking of coffee I was assured that a coffee maker and filters would be supplied. There was ONE filter. There are other points about the exterior that I could go into more detail including the difficult parking and gaining entry. If you are just looking for a place to rest your head at a good price than this may work for you. Suffice it to say that I...

« I stayed at the property with two teenage sons and wife while we went to visit colleges on a long weekend. The property was perfect for our family of four due to the price and location. We drove most places, but you could walk to some of the popular places. I would recommend that families with younger kids look for alternatives. « Unfortunate circumstances brought us, “back home” to Pittsburgh. I booked this while driving from TN and the process was very simple. Chad was an excellent host and incredibly responsive and kind. The house was absolutely amazing. I am a clean freak and typically clean our rentals before settling in. First time ever - I had NOTHING to clean. With our urgency in leaving TN to get to PA - I didn’t pack many of the things we usually do when staying at a rental…TP, trash bags, dish detergent, etc....
