Driveway is steep but not windy or cliffy. 4WD recommended but not required. MUST be 25 or older to book, sign rental agreement and schedule security deposit hold within 48 hrs of booking. Access Details: ►Check-in: 4 PM | Check-out: 10 AM ► Keyless Entry: Personalized door code provided 3 days before arrival. ❗️Guests are required to sign the rental agreement and schedule the security deposit within 24 hours of booking.❗️ ► Private Parking: Plenty of space in the driveway and turnaround area. ► Cell service can be spotty in this region, we highly recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel. ► Must be 25 or older to book, sign rental agreement and schedule security deposit hold within 48 hrs of booking ► Accessibility: Lower level is accessible, featuring two bedrooms, a bathroom, game room, theater, and deck. Main floor is up a large set of stairs. ► NO SMOKING. No smoking in the house. Strictly Enforced. We reserve the right to retain the security hold for cleaning expenses if the cabin smells like cigarette smoke. ► Roads: We are just a few miles off of the 321 parkway, west of Gatlinburg. As you’d imagine, you don’t get these views without a bit of climbing. The roads are paved and relatively flat until you get to our road- Shady Gap Way. At this point it is a well-maintained gravel and dirt road that heads up the hillside. There are no steep drop-offs, and it isn't particularly windy. Our driveway is paved, and steep, butnot windy or "cliffy" at all. We recommend a 4WD vehicle, though we do it regularly in a Honda Civic, and most of our neighbors get around in golf carts. If you're dreaming of wide, flat, paved roads, this is not the cabin for you. In Winter the road can get covered in snow. Please get Travel Insurance if traveling in Winter months! Some Things To Note: ►Pets: Two pet maximum. $150.00 per pet fee. Only dogs allowed, no other pets. Absolutely no puppies. Dogs must be crated if unattended in the cabin. Guests are required to sign the pet addendum and assume financial responsibility for any additional damage due to pets including but not limited to cleaning, repair and replacement due to scratching, peeing or excrement in the cabin etc. Any violation of these rules are grounds for eviction and loss of security deposit. Any questions, please reach out before booking. ► Service Animals- For service animals, we use the FAA service animal form for verification. Animals may not be left unattended in the home unless crated. ► View: Amazing views. In the fall, it is an explosion of colors and you can see them all as far as the eye can see. In the summer, the leaves sway around the cabin, and far away across the mountains. In the winter you can see more deeply into the forests around us. ► Roof: The roof is metal with no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof or if it is raining, you will hear it, no need to be alarmed. ► Bugs: While we have a regular pest control program the cabin is in an area that can have some pests(insects). This is the forest, and while the trees sit back from the house quite a bit, nature is filled with creatures. It is possible to get 4-6-8 legged or winged visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented. \*We do not refund for issues with bugs or forest creatures.\* ► Animals: There are bears, coyotes, deer, squirrels, owls and other animals in the area, & often on the property. Be still and you might see them. When staying at the cabin, NEVER leave food items in the vehicles, NEVER leave food, leftovers, or trash outside. Trash should be bagged & locked in bear-resistant trash containers (provided). ► Security Camera: There are security cameras on the front porch, and over the entrances for everyone’s protection- all pointed away from the cabin itself. The house is often unoccupied between guests. Touching or tampering with the cameras is a violation of your rental agreement. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately. ► Excessive cleaning charge - $300 Your cleaning fee assumes you have followed the check-out instructions. Trash is bagged, pots and pans are washed & returned & dishes are washed in dishwasher. Grill was cared for during stay and is reasonably clean. The house has been used, but there is no damage or extensive cleaning required to prepare for the next guest. Once you get to the cabin and see the view…it’s breathtaking!!! The house was clean and spacious. Our host David was amazing with anything I needed and they sent me a birthday cake for my up coming birthday! How amazing is that. I have never had a host treat me before at any property, they are truly great people. I highly recommend staying at the THIS cabin. My son especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. The large space and many amenities made it fun and comfortable to spend time together, and easy to find space apart when personal time is needed. My favorite place was the master shower with large glass windows overlooking the Smokies. But the large kitchen, loft with amazing view, fire pit, pool table, and much more make this a fantastic vacation getaway! I highly recommend. ##### Stephanie F. The view is amazing and everything went so smoothly. The kids had a blast in the theater and arcade room. The reason why i gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because we did have to mop up one of the rooms when we got there from rain water getting in and the power went out for a couple hours one night from a storm. Our host was always very responsive and helpful with these situations. It says its on 25 acres and i thought there would be more areas to explore, but it was very limited with that. No yard for the kids. I would stay again if given the opportunity and i would recommend having a small wedding here! ##### Michelle A. Had something to keep everyone busy. Had an issue with the pool but the host was super responsive and had someone there the next morning to fix it. The drive way will be intimidating if your not use to mountain roads but was easily climbed by every vehicle in our party. ##### Art P. The hosts were great all around. Now, we had some water issues from a big rain storm. Water was flooding into the back door. Also the master shower (which is beautiful) started to rain down water into the kitchen. The hot tub seats 2-3 people and simply needs replaced. The game room was neat but a few of the games didn't work. There are 2 stoves, about the one in the island. The actual usable size of the land is roughly a half acre. There really is no back yard. The pool was clean and fairly small. It sits in a detached garage. It's a work in progress with an amazing view. All in all it's a pretty nice place to stay they just have some more work to do that would make it better. Start with the hot tub and fix the leaks and uneven floors. Séjour de 4 nuits en juin 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### David P. 21 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Dream View did not disappoint!!!! The Dream View property did not disappoint! The view alone makes it worthy of a five star rating! We went into the national park and had a wonderful time, but came back to the house and all agreed that it provided the best view of the Smokies! It was constantly changing and always beautiful! We enjoyed morning coffee in the jacuzzi or around the propane fire pit. Our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and there was something to entertain everyone. Our granddaughter spent hours every day in the pool, which was also a tremendous asset! After the pool, she loved jumping in the Jacuzzi or enjoying the beautiful panoramic view shower! We made use of the pool table and the corn hole game every day. The fire pit for s’mores was a hit and we loved having the two levels of porches. The beds were very comfortable. The house was clean! The Host was very responsive and took care of issues. When the lights went out in the bathroom, they responded right away and had someone come out. When we suggested a new can opener, pizza pans and cookie sheets, the host ordered them the same day. I would recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and kitchen trash bags, and your own spices. We are not sure we found the property trails that were advertised. We found one and it was extremely arduous with no view as a payoff. But we may not have even been on the correct trail. We wish there was some indication of the starts of the trails. Overall a great stay! The view is the best part! ##### David P. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your space for our special day. Our son especially loved the game room, theater and pool. We had 6 adults and 3 teenagers who enjoyed the cabin immensely. We had lots of room. The kids enjoyed the game room and there was a pool tournament most evenings.The mountain view was incredible and the trails next to the cabin were very good. We were able to enjoy the fire pit and the outdoor fireplaces on the deck in the evenings.Our family has voted they would come here again.And to top it off, David was the ultimate host in making sure we were happy and enjoying our stay. ##### Kenny A. The house was beautiful, spacious and very well taken care of with plenty to do in and around the cabin. From the pool, hot tub, books, games, home theatre, on property hike and fireplaces with stunning views. It was hard to tear ourselves away to venture into the town. Our only regret is not having a whole month to be able to do everything we wanted! David and Jeneff were incredible, kind and very helpful every step of the way. The theatre room and wood burning fire place were a plus. David was an amazing host and very accommodating to our needs. If you get a chance take a hike down the trail he has created. This was our yearly family vacation so we had a group of multiple families. The location was great, it was a trip up the mountain but the view was perfect! We enjoyed the fire tables and fire pit every day! The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool and game room! We enjoyed a family movie in the movie room with fresh popcorn and plenty of seating for everyone! We enjoyed every inch of the property from the hot tub, pool, theater room & game room to the beautiful porches with stunning views, and so much more. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and we even had a sweet treat left on the counter when we arrived ❤️ My family and I loved the cabin and didn't want to leave, 5 days just wasnt enough lol.
