Very low end but it was clean.

We went last minute, homecoming wkend so the hotel we usually stay at was 3x the normal price. This is a very old, low end hotel (like a motel 6 or red roof room type). The rooms are extremely small, no amenities. BUT it was clean & the AC worked great. All rooms are accessed by it's own door to outside. There are many restaurants, stores & bars in walking distance. It works for really busy college weekends when they jack the prices way up for other hotels.

Easily best value in town. Not a nice motel but not scary or disgusting. For how grossly overpriced every spot in town is, if you’re like me and don’t like getting ripped off, this place is a pretty good option.

Nice place

The hotel was clean and reception was helpful as I had booked non smoking but hotel.com tried to put us in a smoking room. The reception managed to move us even tho the Expedia group restricts them doing this.

We were not able to be there for our planned stay, due to a family crisis. We gifted friends with our game passes and they reimbursed me for the room. They said they were very happy with the room and mentioned that it was very clean and tidy. They enjoyed their stay! 😄👍

Getting what you paid for.

Stayed between 9/1/23 - 9/2/23. Perfect example of getting what you paid for, so I knew from past experience what to expect and wasn't surprised; The front door handle was apparently installed upside down so had to lift up in order to open. Right when I got in the first thing I noticed was how dirty the floors were... half-assedly swept & wasn't mopped. Hair in both shower and sink area. grasshoppers & ants throughout the room. The condition of the property along with the price draws in some questionable characters. The property is in a prime spot to neighboring businesses within Coralville's River Landing area, but being right next to a major road near an interstate exit & a gas station adds to the drawbacks.

Roaches

We were very upset. This was our anniversary trip and we went for a Hawkeye game. We still paid quite a bit for a 2 night stay. The service was amazing I will give them that. Also great location. But this hotel is awful. I know it is a motel, so I wasn’t expecting fancy or nice. But it was extremely dirty, uncomfortable, you could hear EVERYTHING. We saw several roaches and killed one for proof. The bed was rock hard and squeaked at the tiniest movement. It was extremely dirty. We couldn’t stay in that motel our last night, so we packed up and had to drive all the way home our second night and missed out on a fun night out in Iowa city because we didn’t sleep our first night there, and because it was roach and whatever else infested. Under the bed is also extremely dirty and dusty. So how could we stay in that? It ruined our anniversary. We will not be back. Requesting a refund. Bummed out. :/ I’ve stayed in cheap run down motels before, nothing compares to this. They should be shut down.

Rude staff, dirty, it smelled horrific and I got a weird yellow substance on my leg by just sitting on the bed. The place was disgusting. We couldn't even stay one night, it was to gross.

The staff was excellent. The room smelled from the old AC unit. It smelled and the staffed tried their best to treat it. There were a few drain flies and the bed was not comfortable. But the staff was very friendly!
