Friendly staff. Just outside of Yellowstone entrance. The room was clean but a bit dated. The bathroom and sink had some ants. Had a blow dryer, microwave and fridge. The area had a couple of places to eat and shop but town is very small.

This is one of my favorite places to stay. The owners are super, the rooms are clean with plenty of space, and it is located close to the northeast entrance of Yellowstone. Cooke City is a cute little mountain town and the Alpine Motel adds to the charm.

A great rustic comfy room just 4 miles from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone NP. We got here late & left early, but was the perfect gateway to our 3 days in Yellowstone. Great little town, Cooke City, MT.

Small town, great access to Yellowstone. Restaurants to be desired. Not great. Not a lot of places for food or drinks. Make sure you bring snacks and drinks. Room was clean and accommodating. surrounding area a little dodgy.
