The organic architecture of The Timber A-Frame, by Forest & Peak Retreats, is a bridge to nature, enhancing the beauty of the surrounding two acres of forest. Highlights include: ★Large Hot Tub ★Huge furnished deck ★Open living room with vaulted ceilings ★10 Minutes away from Woodland Park ★Minutes from Nat'l Forest and ATV trails ★Convenient access to gold medal fishing waters Whether you're looking for a base camp for adventure or the perfect staycation, this destination has it all. Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy. We do have exterior security cameras on the property to monitor traffic. They will be on during your stay. If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $150. We are now accepting dogs! There will be dog bowls, bathroom bags, and a leash provided for you during your stay. Please be sure to include your pet in your guest list when booking. If not, upon arrival we will be immediately requesting the pet fee. Our stay here was wonderful and the property was so clean and maintained. The hosts were very kind and helpful during our stay. We accidentally locked ourselves out and they were very responsive to the situation so we were able to get back in within 10 minutes of the incident. Overall, we are definitely planning to stay here again in March next year and would love to experience this beautiful cabin during the snowy season. Listing notes air conditioning but believe that's only for the upstairs bedrooms. Main floor did not seem to air-conditioned making it a little stuffy on some of the hot days during the middle of the day. By evening with some open windows it was fine. TV wasn't fully setup so we just skipped it and listened to the forest. At night, the correct turn is hard to find and road a little intimidating at dark and while it's on acreage, neighbors are rather close. All in all a good stay. ##### Jimmy N. It was a perfect place for a weekend getaway with a wonderful Hot Tub to help relax! We highly recommend this to others looking for a nice place to stay that is not too far away from surrounding activities! This is an option going forward for an option to stay! The views in the area are breathtaking. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but you are still close to town and centrally located to a lot of activities we planned to do. Sep 8, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great relaxing property The property was very quiet and relaxing. Everything was clean and well cared for. We don't have any negatives to say about the property itself. However, VRBO and the Owners need to have a more understanding cancellation policy. I came down with COVID 3 days prior to scheduled arrival day, with Doctors note in hand, asking for a refund since I obviously should not have traveled. VRBO said the refund policy was subject to owners policy. I made contact with the owners, explaining my situation. They refused a refund and only offered to give partial refund if they were able to re-rent the property. I understand it's a loss for the owners should I cancel but its not like the reason was not warranted with a physician note. We went ahead and traveled as the owners left us no choice and even they encouraged me to travel since they disinfect after every stay. Other than that, the trip and property were great. Moving forward we will look at other properties and vacation websites that have more understanding policies in regards to illness and cancellations. ##### Neil T.
