Nature's Paradise. Unobstructed views of CDA Lake, right off the 300sq ft deck. It has a Large Kitchen and open floor plan. At night you can warm up by the fireplace. There is also a fire pit to roast marshmellows and enjoy a bottle of wine. Watch a bald Eagle catch a fish. You can bike for days on the CDA trail that is a stones throw away. Fantastic city marina that you can moor your boat free, for 48 hours. 5 min walk to town where there is lots to explore. general store, shops, 3 restuarants, ice cream shop, public beach and a park. The house was even nicer than we expected and very well supplied. The view was nice. Staying in August, we very much appreciated the AC. The neighborhood and neighbors were very nice. The town of Harrison was charming and we enjoyed the shops and restaurants. The people in town were very friendly. There wasn’t a foosball table or tandem bike like the listing stated, but we were more interested in spending our time at the lake anyway, so it wasn’t a problem. As we stepped in through the door, we were greeted by how clean the floors and carpets looked, and how fresh the air smelled. Walking through the front room to the windows, the view of the lake and hillsides were peaceful. The master had the same view as well. Chad was very quick to respond to a couple of questions and requests, very much appreciated! We enjoyed a short walk to town, which happened to be hosting a classic car event, folks were friendly! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, just relaxing! I have asthma and couldn’t sleep in the room with three beds stacked up! Too claustrophobic for my lungs. Also the view was mediocre at best, not really on the lake, but across the street from a swamp. The owner was gracious and communicated extremely well. I take responsibility for this choice, just didn’t research thoroughly, so it wasn’t at all what I expected.
