"My stay at Andrew Morris House was excellent! The property was as lovely as depicted in the photos. The staff were very friendly (I even got a hug). Breakfast was delicious and filling. I had to miss breakfast one morning due to a commitment, my inn keeper offered to provide breakfast early, I should have taken her offer because breakfast at my meeting was just so so! The location was perfect, easy walking distance to downtown and a short drive to the campus at Northwestern State University."

"Had a wedding nearby and decided to make a small weekend getaway of it. Sweet Cane Inn looked appealing so I was able to book a room. Charming house and the owners are great people. Enjoyed a glass of wine and fresh baked cookies on the large front porch before we left for the wedding. One of the real treats was the home cooked breakfast served in the morning, all prepared by the innkeeper Cindy. She does an amazing job. Highly recommend this great Inn for your next getaway."

"This was a very special trip for my dad and I. We lived in this house for over a decade many many years ago and it was my childhood home. It has been beautifully restored and brought back to life, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. The house was excetionally clean, well-stocked, the host was quick to respond, and is only a half a mile from historic downtown. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundance of space.
