![We had planned a weekend trip to Vermont and Montreal. We had heard the lake was quite a sight and we had thought to find some hiking trails around it, but when we got there we were taken in with how beautiful the lake was. We had just completed a long day of travel so we just sat there and enjoyed the refreshing breeze. In addition to the 2 boats that are provided there is a canoe, 2 kayaks and even fun little paddle boat. Plenty of toys to enjoy the lake! WiFi is weak at best so plan on leaving work at home. « This was the perfect woods home. Close to hiking, biking, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface - whatever we were looking to do, it was a short drive away. The pool and hot tub were great, although a bit cold as we were there later in the season. »

"This was THE BEST night in a hotel in my hole life! (and I’ve slept in many hotels and all the ones in Plattsburgh since I’ve been going at least 6-10 times a year for the past 20 years. Had visited a few times since it changed from Holiday Inn to Days Inn , but this time was the best!! First, the staff at the front office was super friendly. The room: clean, quiet and the bes, geez…wish I had that one at home. Thank you for the perfect night of sleep and rest. Will be back soon. "
