"Lovely stay with lots of room for all of us. We celebrated Christmas with family here and it was the perfect spot. Well-appointed for dining if all types. Lots of storage in the kitchen. Worth noting that hot tub is seasonal, which was a surprise and a bit of a disappointment to our party."

"If you like to be secluded then this is the place..Beautiful setting with the water right there. The house came fully equipped, except fans because of no air and a regular coffee maker, but we made it work..We would of enjoyed the outdoors more but Mother nature had other plans. "We booked for two nights to attend a friends wedding. The property was very well kept. Upon arrival we were greeted with homemade cookies and a welcome note from the owners. Everything was there that we needed, lots of towels and extra linens. Heat pump came in handy as it was cold, for June. The downstairs shower was amazing. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to spend their summer or winter vacation."

"Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."
