Nice quiet hotel , close to everything but tucked back in a bit of a wooded area so there's not a lot of noise or traffic which is great. The breakfast buffet always has a big variety and it changes every day. Lots of coffee, and a nice snack bar in the lobby. The amenities are great. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable -- I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or even with their families. It's great for any reason of travel. 5 stars! Oh and the front desk staff is...

Room was quite large and a great price. Just needed it for the night and it was perfectly placed. Lots to eat around and plenty to do. Definitely a good option for next time we're in the area.

The best time to visit Clayton, New Jersey, for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is during late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October).
During these months, the weather is typically mild and comfortable, with warm days and cool evenings, making it ideal for exploring the local parks, golf courses, or taking part in community events. You'll avoid the high humidity and heat of summer, as well as the colder temperatures of winter.
For those looking to enjoy seasonal festivities and local produce, early autumn is particularly good. Many farms in the surrounding area offer pick-your-own experiences and harvest festivals, providing a taste of local life. The changing leaves also add to the scenic appeal of the region.
If your primary interest is water-based activities on the nearby lakes or rivers, the peak summer months of July and August might be preferable, despite the higher temperatures.
