They change the men's/women's periodically, so make sure to experience both! I especially appreciated the fine touches that gave me a small smile - the same artist who made the flower vases also made the coffee cups in the lounge :) And the coffee was excellent."

"I had a pleasant stay at APA Hotel Kokura Ekimae. The location is a major highlight—it’s about a 5-minute walk from Kokura Station, making it very convenient for getting around. It’s also close to popular spots like Kokura Castle and Tanga Market, which made sightseeing easy. The hotel operates largely on self-service, which may take a little getting used to, but everything is quite efficient.
