I would have appreciated that the staff at the front desk, doing nothing in particular, instead of asking me to use the check-in machine, would have helped me for check-in and done it at the counter as it used to be done. I find very unfortunate to have to use such machine, which is only convenient for the hotel but not for the customer as it is time-demanding to register all personal information. Having people dealing with customers for such service is more human and more friendly.
