The room was clean, boutique like and comfortable. As you would expect from a building of that age, it creaked and groaned but never enough to disturb our sleep. Staff were friendly and welcoming and location was excellent

Our accommodation was perfect for our short stay. No lifts so be prepared to carry your own luggage up stairs. The staff were so helpful and friendly, also note that there is no staff on the premises over night . Our meals were delicious. Nice quiet spot to stop over during our visit.

What an amazing place to stay ! Right in the centre of Stow. Lovely building and the superior room was great (Family of 3) Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast superb ! Loved it.

We had a wonderful visit. Stow was a great location to see and explore the Cotswolds. The Stag was a perfect “pub inn” with nice/comfortable rooms, and friendly staff, and great restaurant to come back to each evening. The property is located on the town center and convenient to other pubs, restaurants, and shops. I would highly recommend The Stag.

What a lovely property and delightful staff! Such a quaint and homestyle stay to get the genuine Cotswalds experience. Recommend highly, only down side is that we could not stay longer!

Great property. Our room was very large. Had all the comforts- big, fluffy towels, morning coffee, a large comfortable bed. Parking was first come first serve, but we always managed to grab a spot. Would stay here again and would recommend.
