If you're not prepared, traveling can be testing. But don't hit the panic button just yet. Follow these helpful hints and enjoy a stress-free start to your time in Roslev. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be easy if you carry the right gear. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, your important medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and strong acids, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your number one priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Layer up in natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a cardigan in case it gets cool. Pick well-fitting, flat shoes as it's possible that your feet and ankles will swell a little during the flight. Leave the high heels and heavy boots in your luggage.
- Caused by sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a serious condition that can affect some passengers during long-haul flights. But the good news is there are ways to lower your risk of developing it. Drink plenty of water, get up and walk around the cabin whenever possible and wear compression tights or socks.
