Welcome to Willow House in walkable, middle-of-the-action Ridgedale! Looking for adventure? You'll find a myriad of hikes, climbing, water sports, and historic sites within a short drive! Forgot something? Walk to nearby Walgreens and Dollar General to grab essentials. Enjoy easy, off-street parking via the alley behind Willow House. Climb 3 steps to enter through the guest door via smart keypad into a large, fully-stocked kitchen. Prepare delicious meals with the brand new, stainless steel appliances and ample counter space or enjoy takeout from multiple downtown options. The kitchen flows to the living space with cozy seating, desk space, and flat screen TV. Note that the only bathroom is on this level. Enjoy complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. You will find two bedrooms upstairs after \~18 steps. To the right is a bedroom with queen bed and separate twin daybed. To the left is a single queen bedroom. Both rooms have large closets, windows with blinds and curtains, and window units that supply both air conditioning and heat. All mattresses are comfy memory foam and beds have Turkish fabric on the custom headboards. The vestibule outside the bedrooms offers a full length mirror, extra linens, water carafe, and some often forgotten toiletry items. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible! You will stay in an apartment at the rear of our house which has its own private entrance. You do not have access to laundry in the basement but accommodations can be made for longer stays. Willow House is 5 minutes from downtown and nearby I-24 and I-75\. The hosts were kind, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had what we needed. The house is very spacious—especially the kitchen, which was well stocked with everything we needed for meals. We also loved having both an upstairs and downstairs. It gave us space to unwind after the kids went to bed and to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee in the morning before they woke up.There are a few things future guests might want to know. There’s only one bathroom downstairs, which made nighttime trips a bit inconvenient. The home is pet-friendly, which is great, but you could tell—one of the blankets had some cat hair on it, and the couch had a noticeable smell that made it harder to use. We also didn’t realize before booking that it’s a shared house. The hosts stay on their side, and while they were respectful of our privacy, the thermostat is on their side as well. They were very responsive when we asked for temperature changes, but it would’ve been nice to have that control ourselves, especially late at night or early in the morning.The two upstairs bedrooms have window units that kept things cool once we figured them out, though they can cut in and out a bit. The location is convenient—close to downtown and the interstate—and there are a few great playgrounds and a coffee shop within walking distance. Just be aware that the house sits on a busy corner near a light, so traffic noise (including fire trucks) can be loud at times. The hosts thoughtful ##### Jason M. My wife and I met our son and his two boys in Chattanooga for a couple days. Large kitchen and two bedrooms. We are use to having everything on one floor, as most properties where we are from are single story. The two bedrooms were upstairs and bathroom was on first floor. Not a big deal until getting up in the middle of the night. LOL Those of us who are older will understand. Over all it worked out great. ##### Gary C. It had intentional touches and the hosts do a great job of anticipating guest needs at this property. The check-in, check-out process were both very easy and we experienced great communication throughout the process. The listing doesn't mention that the space is shared with the hosts (at least that I could tell) and the property has a recommendation for quiet hours because the hosts and their children are sleeping on the other side of the wall. I'm sure we kept them awake at least one night with how rowdy our kids were on check-in night. It is definitely pet-friendly, but it was also pretty evident that animals had been present as there was still a good bit of dog hair and some of the linens/towels still smelled like dogs as well. All very minor issues that did not affect the overall pleasant and convenient experience on a budget. Would definitely revisit and recommend! ##### Michael B.
