"This is a historic property that is being lovingly renovated. We enjoy these types of hotels creaky floors and all. We met the owners and heard about plans. Quite a different experience than a big chain property. There’s a small bar in the lobby and they will have restaurant once the new kitchen is finished. Room was good sized and. The bathroom had been redone. Bed was comfortable. If you’re in Chama for the train (isn’t everyone?), it’s right across the street. "

The little house was clean and had most of the comforts we needed to enjoy our short visit to this beautiful town. Bed was comfy and the coffee was strong. Owners were easy to communicate with.
