"Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for those nights when cooking in. Home was set up as a home away from home with spacious rooms and comfy beds. Home was ideal for several quests with each having their own space. Best of all were the hosts - if we could give 10 stars we would. They were so helpful and easy to get in touch with and they were full of ideas and suggestions of what to do and where to go - they were amazing!"

"The weather didn’t permit much time in the pool (it was somewhat chilly) but when we did use the pool, it was fabulous. The house was very comfortable and basic amenities were provided. The property manager, Franco, was wonderful. He responded immediately to calls or emails and recommendations were terrific."

"Fantastic, spotless, well-equipped property. The villa is in an ideal location to serve as a base for visiting the sights in Tuscany and beyond, or chilling out. The pool, while shared, was never busy. It's about a 15 minute walk up the hill to the bars and restaurants in Montecarlo. About 15 mins drive to the local supermarket in Pescia. Could not have been better - would love to return!"

"A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really strong enough to support the. 38 degree weather we had, plastic cups would be useful for the kids and around the pool (we picked some up at the supermarket) and an electric car charging point would be amazing as there appear to be a lot locally which don't work!All in all however, a great house and we all had a brilliant time.
