"This property was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It fit our family of 4 very nicely. The view from the cabin was beautiful. If you have a boat, there is a dock you can tie up to. I will say the stairs to the dock are very steep and may be challenging for older guests, but they did not bother us. The owner was responsive and easy to work with."

There were parts of the house that could definitely use some TLC (ie. broken trim, missing lightbulbs/insufficient light), but our group wasn’t too bothered by those things. "I felt completely spoiled during our entire stay! They have thought of almost everything and the service was excellent! It was our first visit, and definitely a splurge, but it was a joy to stay there! We ate in the restaurant one morning and enjoyed room service the next, and to be honest, I enjoyed room service so much more! Everything arrived hot/cold and exactly as I ordered it, and the hostess Eva was especially friendly and kind! I also loved the noon checkout because my husband was in a meeting all morning and I didn’t need to ask for a late checkout. The history and architecture of The Jefferson have been preserved and highlighted! What a gorgeous property!"
