Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back. I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed! Thank you for everything guys and I will recommend this place to anyone!

Great private compound w 25 rooms, lovely grounds, big rooms, pool, and good restaurant. Within 30 minutes of SJO. We used for our last night in CR to reduce travel stress. Would also be a great SJ starting point or even business hotel.

Arrived after a 9 day stay on the Pacific coast in a spectacular villa in the jungle to find another gorgeous setting in CR, this one overlooking busy San Jose and Alajuela, vibrant design, lovely cool paths filled with colourful flowers and more bird song and life than we experienced in our various tours of the trip to date. Food was wonderful, tasty and health conscious; the view at night from our bungalow of twinkling city light and brooding mountains was a balm for the hot and tired...

Very clean property, staff is attentive. Check in was hassle free and the breakfast was excellent!

Vicky waited up for us to arrive late at night when our flight was delayed. She gave us a main floor room so we wouldn’t have to take the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was outstanding.

clean room great staff

This is clearly a hotel with style ambience and the best staff. We had the garden suite and it was probably one of the best rooms we have every stayed in. Staff are so nice !!

Our fourth year staying here always excellent!

This hotel is located close to the airport, but was very quiet. It is very clean, has very friendly multilingual staff, and offers a good complimentary breakfast.

It was perfect for a night before our flight in the morning

Villa Blanca is a fantastic, eco friendly resort located in a cloud rain forest. Extremely customer service focused team, led by Marco E. and staff. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future. Skilled birding and biologist guides, great trails and a lively spa too! Food quality was exceptional.

Fantastic choice for your first night in Costa Rica, or the final night before a flight home. Two recommendations, book the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed, and book the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and avoid having to pay a ridiculously high price for a taxi. Third time staying at AC Belan, and I will stay again.

We stayed in one of the treehouses and had an unforgettable experience! The room itself was clean and spacious, and had a wrap around porch. We loved the "treehouse" feel, while also having the comfort of AC, running water and a full bathroom, a fridge, and a TV. They had a restaurant for the hotel guests and we ate dinner there twice - both meals were delicious. You are given three options for the free breakfast - the options given to us included a typical Costa Rican breakfast, pancakes, or an...

Great Hotel. Large art collection, 2nd largest in costa rica. Very warm and inviting.

I had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The service was awesome, and the room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful—anything you need is just a phone call away, and they make sure it’s delivered promptly. The property felt very safe and secure, which made the stay even more comfortable. Another big plus is the location: there’s a nice, walkable street nearby with plenty of high-end outlets and shopping options. Overall,...
