Some of the rooms were directly onto the road, whereas all the bungalows were tucked away at the back, near the swimming pool and close to the forest gardens with it's daily dose of wildlife. The rooms were kept beautifully clean and it was lovely having dressing gowns to lounge around in. Shame no sun on the terrace, but the rooms were always cool... Every afternoon about 4pm came the wildlife show. Each day different, whether it was capuchin monkeys or macaws, howler monkeys or toucans, we always made sure we were there ready with our binoculars and camera." Although I don't use the casino another guest commented that there was no way to get money! No ATM in the hotel. Nearest is in the center of Jaco. Tried various restaurants. Pool bar was very good - a bit slow but very nice waiters. Pools are lovely though a bit too warm. Very helpful concierge booking and changing tours. Thank you Aura."
