Having two bedrooms worked well for us along with the living room and a large open kitchen and full bathroom. It's a bit of a distance away from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia, but you won't find any listing like this on Mt Desert Island, so we didn't mind the drive to get to the places we wanted to visit. It's a fabulous place to come home to after a long day of exploring Acadia. "
