He met us in Gioiella, a small town near the house, to take us the rest of the way so we would not get lost, and had even offered to pick up our friends at the Castiglione del Lagos train station. Do be aware that the second bedroom is very small with a set of bunk beds, of which the top is not suitable for an adult. There is a full out sofa as well with a full sized bed. The two bathrooms were wonderful...

Man er på landet med dertil hørende katte, hunde, æsler, haner med mere som også underholder om natten og tidligt morgen... Fin udsigt til Castiglione del Lago og søen fra nogle af lejlighederne. Køretur til byen blot 13 minutter. Vi havde et fint ophold og har gode minder om den del af Umbrien:)"

"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
