"We had a very quick stay. Did not interact much with people. Property is kind of in the middle of nowhere with a big casino across the way. But overall nice stay."

"It was quite and friendly. only thing is in my hurry to check out I left my dress over the chair by the desk. It is cream with pink flowers. I left a message with housekeeping with my phone #, and room # 310 on 8/15/2025. I have not heard from anyone. But still I would stay again."

"What a perfect lake front cottage! This cottage was super clean, and stocked with all of the basic needs (paper towels, TP, bath/beach towels etc). The outdoor deck was great for grilling with stunning sunset views and the lakeside deck/dock was great for quiet morning reading and perfect for the jet skis we rented, and fishing. all the beds were super comfortable- confirmed by teenage boys! I personally loved the new modern kitchen and bathrooms- clean and tidy! Kurt was super responsive and helpful. He has instructions everywhere in the house for all things you need to know. Which was appreciated. We will return in the future! "

"Lovely historic house just as l had hoped...ninteenth-century atnosphere, lovely well kept old wood floors..Linda was right there to greet me even though my time of arrival was delayed a little at Portland bus station... perfect Maine alternative to generic bland hotel chains. Very glad to have landed here after long trip north,!"

"Only complaint is parking. I was in town for an event, so the hotel was packed. I had to park in the “back lot” which wasn’t close to the main entrance. Property & room were well worth it."
