"Traveling with my adult daughter. Upon arriving very late afternoon we wanted to go up to the pool to relax and have a bite to eat and drink. We were told they could not serve us drinks or food by the pool and would have to move to the restaurant next to the pool area and that the pool closed at 7pm which seems pretty early to me. We were expecting the hotel to be in the more central location of Cascais, which it is not. The first night we walked for 10 minutes to get to a nice restaurant on a very narrow sidewalk next to a busy street. The room itself was decent. The deck furniture was stained and dirty so used beach towels to sit on. The nioise off the street was really loud and went on until almost midnight making it almost impossible to have a conversation or relax over the car and motorcylces. In the bathroom, there was not lotion and for a hotel that has a high end spa in it I found that odd. After two days we decided we needed to move hotels. I was willing to pay for the 3rd night but was asking them to cancel and reimburse us the last two nights which they denied. I found out their main customer is a business traveler which makes sense but for anyone wanting a vacation experience I would look closer to Cascais for sure."
