"Mood Matuna was an excellent choice for our stay in Cartagena. The staff was excellent. In particular, Marjorie and Maria made our stay very enjoyable. Their excellent hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness and sunny disposition made our trip. The rooms were very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. When we decided to stay in the Walled City we knew that it was going to be bustling, noisy, and crowded, but that was something we wanted to experience. The Walled City is old and everything is not aesthetically pleasing, but that was not something we cared about. So, if you want to be in walking distance of Getsmani, La Gorda Gertrudis, the Clock Tower, Plaza de Santo Domingo and Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas to name a few this is a good choice. "We had an amazing stay at the Sophia hotel! We spent two nights here, and it was a very quiet area but still close and walkable to everything in El Centro. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the rooftop pool bar was beautiful with a great view of the city. The best part was the service, everyone on the staff was so nice and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"
