« Erica was a fabulous host. Very personable and charming. She made sure we had what we needed to be settled in after a long drive coming back from Scotland. There is also a really nice cafe, "Creed Coffee Carrickferus" in walking distance I recommend for your morning coffee and scone. It was great. Carrickfergus castle is also in walking distance and very worth the short walk from the cafe. Overall a really nice and pleasant stay for just one night. »

Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful while we were traveling from outside of the country to make sure that our stay was even better than advertised. The cottage is cozy, so best for 1-2 people to stay versus 3 or more. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room fire place was perfect for a cold night. The location is unbelievable. "We stayed in a small apartment which was really cute and cosy, but some areas were a bit dirty (stains on the walls and on the counter, a bobby pin on the bathroom floor). We also had an issue with the bartender : we asked for a Hugo Spritz and he got it totally wrong, we ended up with a short-drink glass filled with something that had no taste but was definitely not what we asked... The bartender seemed quite lost actually. Other than that everything was great! The staff was really welcoming and breakfast was delicious :)"
