"Our stay started with a major issue. The morning after our late arrival (1:30 AM), we discovered our room carpet was completely soaked due to a ceiling leak. This caused water damage to my suitcase, including shoes, clothing, and personal items, as well as our 5-year-old daughter’s backpack with books and toys. We estimate about $1,000 in damage. Although we were moved to another room and given one night compensation, this was agreed to before we understood the full extent of the damage. When I later asked about additional help and laundry support, the process was frustrating and required multiple trips to the front desk. Communication between managers was inconsistent and we did not receive much empathy during the situation. The only apology we received was from a security guard helping with the report. We were also initially charged for both nights and had to return to have the reimbursement corrected. Additionally, both hot tubs were out of service. The location is great, but the way this situation was handled took time away from our family vacation and did not meet the level of service we expected from a Hilton property. There are plenty of hotels in the area that will treat you better. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else. "

"I had a very disappointing experience at Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort and would not recommend it. The food quality and hygiene were extremely concerning. At the buffet, nothing seemed to be kept at proper temperature—watermelon was warm and even had an onion-like taste. The à la carte restaurants were no better. At the Japanese restaurant, there was a cockroach on our table, and we saw oil dripping from the exhaust fan. The shrimp served to us were not properly cleaned and still had the vein in them, which was very unappetizing. We also tried the sports bar, where we ordered fish and chips and wings, but both were undercooked. We didn’t feel safe eating them and ended up leaving. The beachside hamburger truck was no better—the burgers were barely cooked through. The Steakhouse restaurant was the only somewhat decent option. At Olivo the chicken parmesan was dry and overly tough. On top of the food issues, the staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even worse. Overall, this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve had. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone."

"Paid 2 hrs for late check out and security was at our door 5 minutes past our check out time like if we were thieves. Two security people came knocking loud and even though they saw me with our luggage walking to our door, they stood there until we all came out of the room and escorted us out. Totally fail. Never coming back. "

"Great staff, clean and close to the airport. The food was ok, I found getting things made to order (omelets, pasta, fried rice) from the buffet was best. The Asian restaurant is pretty good. "

"The property is in a prime spot with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The beach is excellent and the staff on the beach could not be any more pleasant. Arturo was amazing, always wanting to find us the perfect spot. I will say, if you are older and past the party stage, avoid the Sea Tower… Mumba next door parties until 2am. The hotel moved us quickly and apologized for the inconvenience. All of the employees were so kind and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
