« Our visit to Clayton and The 1000 Islands for a Memorial Service and 60th Birthday party was enhanced greatly by the clean, comfortable and charming Cottage on James. The home was clean, linens fresh and every amenity added- thanks for the welcome basket of snacks! The front porch was a big draw and we spent early mornings and evenings enjoying the rocking chairs. « Great stay in a great place. 5-minute walk to Uncle Sam's or the main dock, less than that for shops and restaurants. Jacqueline was wonderful and she explained the message about the place where to go and how. good restaurants etc. That was more helpful. and I received an immediate response to my needs. It was our first time, we enjoyed the stay. She needs to put carpet on the second floor. we could not sleep since we stayed on the first floor. we hear everything from the people above....

« Property was perfect. and conveniently located 500 feet from James street where there are numerous restaurants bars shops and the main town dock. This property had an unobstructed view of Boldt Castle although it wasn't right on the water it felt like it was.. The museum next door was open and filled with volunteers that gave you some great history of the area.. The air conditioning worked well the days were very hot during our stay. I would defiantly stay there again. »

"Très bon accueil, un beau motel, ambiance familiale pour ce week-end de fête nationale du 4 juillet. Chambre simple mais avec tout le confort pour passer de bonnes nuits, elle donne sur l'arrière sur un pré, où de petits lapins trottent le matin :) Accès facile pour se rendre à Alexandria Bay et l'incontournable château Boldt.
