"Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!"

"A nice place to stay for a beautiful view. The host was friendly and accommodating. The house itself was a mix of new and old where they had remodeled some of the house, but not all of it. The view was amazing, but unfortunately for us we were there at a bad time because there was a constant swarm of May Flies that kept us from enjoying the balcony. I would stay there again."

"Wow! This place really exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a quiet spot right on the water, this place is perfect. The host provided everything we could possibly need, and the comfortable beds were so perfect. My kids loved all of the outdoor space, and we all enjoyed the deck, the two level dock, the screened porch, and the fire pit area - so many spots to relax and enjoy! This place is an absolute gem."

"Everything about the house was amazing! We don’t own a boat so the owners provided us with a few local options, we chose Wagoner’s Marina. It was was easy to get to and the process there was smooth. Parked our car, loaded the boat and headed out to the island. The ride was about 5 minutes and easy to navigate. On arrival the owner greeted us and took our luggage right back to the house for us. "Very clean nice home. Only big suggestion is a propane grill rather then the small charcoal grill. Also shower door and regular door in bathroom of master bedroom need attention. Owner very accomadating. Would rent again- with hopes of different grill."
