Magnificent views from our sea view rooms and we had a lovely walk up Chapman's Peak on Saturday morning with lots of other locals, there's also a great little container style barista/coffee shop just across the road offering great coffee and a fantastic view. I have to make particular mention to Wendy on the cleaning staff. It was only mid-air out of Cape Town that I realised I had left my diamond stud earrings on my bedside table, there was absolutely nothing I could do for 90 minutes until we touched down in Johannesburg and I was able to call the hotel. My faith in humanity is totally restored and just so thankful to Wendy for her honesty in finding & returning my earrings to reception so that my friend who lives locally could collect them on my behalf and safely keep them until my next trip to Cape Town. The hotel itself had all the facilities that we needed. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel which is also well supported by the locals (breakfast however was a little underwhelming).
