"Had a fantastic stay here! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was such a nice touch to come downstairs to free cookies, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and fresh coffee. Another great perk was receiving two complimentary drink tickets, which we could use for wine or beer. The rooms were spotless, the rates were very cost-efficient, and the location couldn't be better—right next to everything. A truly great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean. All the amenities one might need and having a kitchenette was helpful. I have mobility issues and everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful. There are a couple tips I would like to leave. For others with mobility issues, the trek to the beach was arduous. I found easy access to the beach on 3rd Street in Emerald Isle which is not far away. There’s parking, a ramp, and a very short walk with no steps. And for the owners of Beacon, I would suggest leaving instructions for the air conditioner/heater. I found the remote, but apparently I didn’t know how to set it. I think one of the staff finally set it for me, which was good. I would agree with what someone else wrote in their reviews that the curtains could be a little darker to block out light pollution at night. I didn’t know ahead of time they were pet friendly, but that’s a plus. Thank you all so much."

"The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Loved the step in shower! You need to bring drinks and snacks due to very limited vending done near the front desk. Also, no breakfast is served but Dunkin Donuts is right next door! Nice place to stay. Pet friendly."

"What a wonderful hotel! Friendly and attentive staff, super comfortable beds, roomy suites, convenient location and budget friendly. Breakfast was decent, with yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee all available virtually from 6:30 to early afternoon. A waffle iron and frozen breakfast sandwiches/ microwave were the only hot breakfast options, but that is likely because of staff and space limitations. Not a deal breaker for us, as we’d definitely book here again if we return to Emerald Isle."
