« The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out...

« Great place to stay away from the busyness of Denali park. It was a short 20ish minute drive to the park but without all the people and noise. The exterior is pretty rustic and there is very little else around but the inside is really nice and recently renovated. Pull out couch bed worked great for our 2 younger kids and otherwise had everything we needed after a long day in the park. »

It was just a 10-minute walk to the McKinley Creekside Cafe which serves great meals and only a 15-minute drive to Denali National Park. It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, and was well-stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable although you had to be careful not to bump your head on the slanted wall.
