You were not allowed to put paper into the toilet. This was not told to guests prior to booking or arrival.
I appreciate that the hotel is an old historical building, however there were buckets along the stairwelll to our room to catch drips from the roof, as well as on either side of our room door, which was really unbecoming for a hotel.

I liked how close the property was to everything, the hotel itself was super clean and well kept. The lights went out in the city during our stay there but the lights and water still worked well in the building. A staff there i believe his name was Marco, was very helpful and kind. I did notice that some of the other staff though were rude and unwelcoming, it was mainely the female staff. Other than that, we really liked our stay here and i would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in San Juan.

The area is pretty close to everything and close proximity to the old town. Parking was great! And the overall apartment is quiet and feels safe!

We were fortunate to snag a last-minute reservation at this hotel, thanks to a cancellation, and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our stay was wonderfully comfortable, and the hotel’s location offered the perfect balance—peaceful and removed from the hustle and bustle, yet still accessible. We enjoyed a leisurely 20-minute walk to Old San Juan, which added to the charm of the trip. This hotel has won us over, and we’ll undoubtedly return the next time we visit San Juan!
