« Clean room walking distance to everything in town, very nice attentive staff. Parking is pretty tight especially for a pickup truck. They should put a few extra towels and tissue paper in the bathroom. »

« I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville. »

« Gold Miners Inn is a great place to stay- the staff is amazing- helpful and on top of everything.
They provide complimentary bottled water and have a small store in site for snacks and necessities. They also host a happy hour with free drink coupons included.
The room are spacious, clean and comfortable.
The only issue we had was no Uber service in the area- so plan ahead for that. »
