"My family and I had a wonderful holiday stay at the property. Great location nestled in the woods, plenty of space for our dog to run around outside in the fenced in yard, and spacious interiors that gave us room to spread out. The on-site property manager was very nice. Only thing we weren’t expecting - there’s a commercial kitchen attached to the main house that gets rented out, so there might be someone coming and going while you’re there. It’s a separate entrance, but we weren’t aware of it...

"The guesthouse is on the property as the owner, adding a feeling of safety. Knowing that even when we were out, the place was not unattended. While the owner's kept to themselves allowed us a feeling of isolation and quiet, it was good to know they were nearby in case we needed anything. The home is a short 13mi drive in to Nevada City for groceries, shopping, or dining. Looking out across a wooded valley from the deck was so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely consider a future...

"We had the most amazing and relaxing weekend in Nevada City thanks to Lorrie and her lovely hospitality. She is the best host! This was the cleanest, beautiful little home we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Everything is modern, comfortable and perfect. Stay here if you want a serene getaway with every amenity. There was a lovely welcome basket with muffins and fruit and a very sweet note waiting for us when we arrived. Every communication with Lorrie and her husband...

"This is an older property and the rooms reflect this. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was fine for us as we spent most of our time with family. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly. We were in the end room and the Wi-Fi was weak there. He offered us another room but we chose to stay put. We could easily walk to the gazebo or just a bit toward the office to use Wi-Fi. It worked fine for us but it’s certainly not the Ritz. "
