Nice location, poor bathroom conditions. Toilet clogged, trash can for toilet paper (nasty), only one car parking spot, very rude front desk lady.

Great location!!!! Toilet clogs easily with toilet paper. Sign encourage to use trash can for used toilet paper and not to flush toilet paper, not a healthy practice. Bathroom stinks.

Wonderful architecture and comfortable room
The architecture is great with courtyards, tile designs and high ceilings in the rooms. We had a large, clean comfortable room. It was in the middle of the hotel and very quiet. The shower was hot with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. Good lighting.

Beautiful Sanctuary!
It was amazing. Beautiful little boutique hotel that screams low key luxury and is lovingly decorated with antiques from the area - and absolutely helpful, kind staff. We got our room early and it was a HUGE blessing- the room was cool, comfortable and charming and the beds and pillows SUPERB. We plan to stay here again!The food and ambiance at the attached restaurant, Sottavento is fantastic!

Cute and cuddly
Room was comfortable although the air conditioner and refrigerator were turned completely off prior to arrival. That made the first night a long hot one. The door to the room had a lot of daylight coming through it. All room doors led to outdoor courtyards. This didn’t seem very efficient. The beds were the most comfortable of any recent hotel stay but they were only dressed with sheets and no blankets. Housekeeping was amazing and consistent.

The Hotel Socaire was very conveniently situation right in Center City and had a nice breakfast restaurant Sotavento connected directly through a corridor. Beds were reasonably comfortable, small swimming pool and complimentary cold water was available in the lobby area. For the price it's hard to beat.

This is a lovely building in the historic center. The staff could not have been better. The hotel is spotless. There is a small restaurant attached that serves coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pool area is very nice.

Excellent hotel in all aspects. Very helpful front desk. Located in a quiet street very close to the main square. In my next visit to Campeche will stay there again. Highly recommended.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are spacious, good air conditioning although with the high ceilings and in December, we only had it turned on occasionally. There are all kinds of interesting and beautiful antiques and artwork throughout the hotel. The staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had street side rooms but even so they were quiet, the bed was more comfortable than most. There is a small cafe in the back of the hotel facing Calle 55. Good coffee and breakfasts. We did not eat other meals there, but they looked to be good as well. Also a pretty pool area where we all went swimming. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant stay. very helpful staff with good command of English. Nice cafe with long hours in the hotel. Hotel is a beeautfl, restored mansion, with lovely interior patios, including a ccharming swimming pool in a picturesque setting. Our room was plenty large,, and even though on the street, was quiet and comfortable. It is very close to the center of town, easy walking. Lovely stay.

The hotel is very comfortable and well located in the historic area, near to many restaurants and sights. This is our second visit, and we will definitely return. The only criticism we had was that the on site restaurant was very disorganized and confused our first morning there. It took 30 minutes to order and another hour before we had all our food. We ate elsewhere the other mornings. Otherwise, the hotel is an excellent value.

Everything was excellent except the complimentary breakfast... the fruit was not presented very well... a)seeds in the watermelon b) my husband´s bowl of fruit was mostly papaya with some banana while mine was pieces of watermelon with seeds and some papaya with two slices of banana... seems put together in a haphazard way.. c) one morning we had to ask for my husband´s toast. d) seeds were floating in the freshly squeezed juice e) the coffee was hot and delicious d) the jam was delicious

Really interesting building, imaginatively decorated with unusual artefacts and with staff that were pleased to help in any way. Lovely small pool hidden away in one of the courtyards. Loved it.

Nice city hotel
We were welcomed by Jorge who was very kind and gave us many touristic recommendations for Campeche and all around, we arrived quite early so the room was not available yet, but he asked for our mobile phone so in case the room was ready before check-in time he could call us. They always have refreshing water and coffee available at the lobby, the hotel is furnished with very good taste and has many cozy and beautiful spaces, the cafetería has different promotions and good food for a very reasonable Price. They were always very aware of the details and we had a wonderful time. Congratulations hotel Socaire.

Campeche stay
It was amazing, except that this is for Jean-Claude constandse and I called hotels.com to make changes to my stay 1 month before the trip and hotels.com said they had called the hotel for the changes and all was good. When I arrived one night later and departed one day earlier I was still charged for the two extra nights because they said hotels.com did call them, the authorized the change but hotels.com failed to update the itinerary that makes it official so they could not release the rooms until they got that which never came. I have been with hotels.com for 4 years and this was kind of disappointing having to pay for two nights that I specifically and proactively called to cancel

Colonial style near centro.
Best asset for this hotel is its central location. Rooms vary a lot. Select a JR suite. Restaurant is ok. Not English speaking. Free parking is on street parking. Hard to find a spot. City is pleasant interesting and worth the trip.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms and bathrooms, nice pool, friendly staff, and a lovely restaurant. This hotel is a gem, located in the Historic Center of Campeche. Only a block from many other restaurants, but on a quiet street, and with great air conditioning. We loved our Campeche experience [we were there for Carnaval] and we will certainly return to Hotel Socaire!

Excellent Hotel In Campeche
This Hotel is amazing, quiet, beautiful and well cared for and very clean, further more it really is a GEM and the price is so cheap but certainly not the hotel. It is clean with friendly attentive staff, (Especially Christian on reception who was very very professional) There is complimentary coffee and juice in reception. The decor is simply stunning with works of art and individual features. We had been upgraded to the suite (Room 18) which was a very large room with an outside Jacuzzi bath tub, simply stunning under the stars! We had coffee facilities in the room, bottled water every day and a lovely selection of complimentary toiletries. We can certainly recommend the adjoining restaurant which is well worth a visit with freshly cooked food and good service. this hotel in our opinion can not be faulted.

A tale of two hotels
The upstairs rooms are large and beautifully restored. Ours # 17 was just fantastic. The last night we had to move to a ground floor room. Dark, unable to open window and a lack of privacy. Be very careful of the room that you get as it could make all the difference in your stay.

Great Location
Great location close to the Plaza and malecon. Old colonial hotel with an attached restaurant. Restaurant is pleasant. Beautiful old colonial building. Our room was quite dark with only one window, but nicely furnished with comfortable beds, pillows, and quiet air conditioning. It was the last available room. We peeked in on some other rooms which were larger and lighter. No parking at the hotel but it was easy to find parking on the street, and it is safe to do so. A pleasant experience for our 2 days in Campeche.

Lovely small hotel oozing with character
This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. It has expanded in size and taken over the house at the back. It has lovely quirky internal spaces and a nice outdoor pool. The rooms have lovely original tiled floors and comfortable beds. The reception staff are very friendly and caring
