« Family-run hotel. Very nice people, and very accommodating. I see from some reviews that picky folk might be bothered that the decor is not the latest, and the tv is CRT instead of flatscreen, but the basics are there: clean room, comfortable bed, etc. And while they didn't provide breakfast on-site, with the money we saved by staying here, we got a great breakfast nearby at Schat's Bakery (down the street, and another one in the Friedman's Home Improvement store). There are some nice choices...

« It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! « We have just spent a second stay in willits in this hotel to visit our family who live in the area. The hotel is perfectly located and very quiet. My rooms are very clean, the staff is available and very friendly, we had a very good stay in this hotel decorated in a tasteful western style. »

« L' hôtel n' est pas au bord de Clear Lake mais au bord d' un petit lac de montagne plutôt joli. La chambre offre un très grand lit et un jacuzzi mais peu de place pour poser et ranger ses affaires. La nuit on entend un peu les camions sur la route et la climatisation des voisins. Il y a une piscine et des chaises longues au bord du lac. L' ambiance est un peu rébarbative à cause des interdictions affichées partout accompagnées parfois de menaces d' amendes. »

« Very disappointing stay. The hotel was extremely noisy, with young guests partying all night and no staff intervention. The cleanliness was really poor – the sheets were stained and yellowed, the floor was very dirty, and there were only two towels provided for a room of four people. On the positive side, there is a restaurant next door that is very good and worth trying. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. »
