As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The stay was perfectly fine and safe overall, but the place and room are dated, the furniture in need of TLC, and my room was clearly previously a smoking room, based on the smell. Walls are thin, so the motel can get noisy, as it allows dogs (heard some barking at night), and a colorful cast of characters that came and went throughout the evening. Staff was pleasant but generally kept to themselves. Breakfast was a plus, with toast, muffins, coffee, juice, and an automatic pancake maker. So, overall, if you can put up with these things, you can't beat the price around that area, but don't expect a lot of amenities or a cute neighborhood, it's called 'motel village' for a reason.
